Is it possible to make scripts update automatically?

I was glad to discover GreasyFork and bookmarked it and re-downloaded most of the essential scripts I snatched in the past from UserScripts. But I'm curious: why do scripts downloaded from here not seem to update automatically? I realize there's a risk in allowing scripts to update automatically . . . but Is there a way to do it?

Well I guess I'll go back to using GreaseMonkey. Besides, Scriptish hasn't been updated in a year anyway . . .
