Starting from version 6.0.0, Linkify Plus Plus uses new ES6 features to provide better performance. To support new feature, you need to upgrade Firefox to 29+.
If you like to stay at 24, you can downgrade Linkify Plus Plus to 5.0.1.

It does not define the links and does not create a configuration item. Does not even work on your test page.
I use Firefox ESR 24.8.1 and Greasemonkey 1.15.1-signed.
What could it be?
