Rewriting the comment with innerHTML removes event listeners
Changing the comment HTML with innerHTML removes all the event listeners on the descendants, breaking other scripts. In particular, it breaks 4chan X's quote link preview/hover and embedding of Youtube and other links. You can fix this by using DOM functions instead.
