For me the error shows up like <= 20% of the time, so I've always thought it's just ChatGPT being unstable and never suspected the script
Turns out they pushed an update awhile ago replacing some fetch() calls with a Request object instead of normal URL strings
I've updated the script and it's working now. Thanks a lot for reporting!
Yeah it looks like it's working again, refreshed a couple times every now and then every few min, and the error isn't showing up.
It recently results in ChatGPT becoming broken and saying "Unable to load history" with the (retry button), and won't load any chats from the URL history, i refreshed the page a couple times, but it keeps giving that error. If I'm lucky then like 1% of the time it will come back normal.
I assumed it was on ChatGPT's end, and I disabled all the plugins and everything started working, then I slowly began reenabling the plugins and noticed it stopped working when I enabled TamperMonkey, and again disabled all scripts in TamperMonkey, and it stopped working when I enabled this ChatGPT Model Switcher script.
I think they have a new update and it results in this becoming broken, sometimes on a refresh the old ChatGPT frontend may load and thats why it works sometimes. Maybe you can replicate this on your end, I'm not sure if this is just my computer (it works on my iPad), or a chatgpt update not wanting to work with this script
I can sometimes force it to work if I refresh like 10-20 times until it comes on, then it stays on, unless I close the tab and reload it.
