Update rebuttal form
Agreed that would be good.
"The reason for those references, is to urgently inform people that there are organizations that do not want people to know of syndicated technologies."
That means ads, in other words. Cool that you made that and that you are an "activist" about it, but you either make a script to make the life of others easier, or post an "activism" essay somewhere else.
If your script really has external links to "helpful activism" content, that means ads to those who love your script, but don't really care about the "activism" part of it, and who don't want non-related stuff bundled with the script.
If I remember it right, someone else with another script (that I will not link here), has a small short quotes section not related with the script, and the dev had to add "ads" to it's disclaimer.
Yes you are correct.
Yet. There are no banners or advertisements that are intervening to the stated functionality of this extension.
All documents and references that are not directly of the stated functionality are hidden, and are accessible by clicking in the rescue wheel icon 🛟.
In addition, there are references to my XMPP group chat and related projects at the bottom of each page. Again, this is not interrupting to the stated functionality, and the references are of organizations and projects that protest against BigTech, promote syndication and interoperability as we were promised during the 1990's.
So, should this be considered as advertisement?
I would say so.
Ads rarely disrupt usage of programs, scripts or websites. They're mostly small squares or just links.
Like I mentioned, even a short random quote for fun could be considered an ad.
This thread is still open.
An update functionality be useful.
Take your time and get it right the first time. If something pertinent was missed and your script is deleted, you can still file an appeal.
Good day.
Today, I have read a report for one of my Greasemonkey extensions.
I have chose to file a rebuttal, and then wanted to update it.
It appears that update is not possible.
It would be good to have an option to update, because one might accidentally submit a few words, and would not be able ot correct it.
This is my updated rebuttal to the report in question.
