Antifeature ads should have several classifications

Good day.

From the discussion with hacker09, I would advise to consider to add types of "ads", because the references of my Newspaper for Greasemonkey extension are for educational purposes, not commercial.

And the description "This script will inject ads on the sites you visit." is either untrue or too extreme to that extension.

Please advise.

Kind regards,

Schimon

Hi Schimon,
your script clearly lists feeds that are useful for the user. Of course, if someone paid you to add some of these links, we can't know, but I think that referral-linkand ads antifeature tags already cover the possible misuses of links.
The description "This script will inject ads on the sites you visit." refers to scripts that have a purpose and then show ads that are not directly related to fulfilling that purpose. In your case, listing feeds is exactly the purpose of your script.
Do you have a specific suggestion for a new tag?

P.S. in my opinion the antifeatures tag should serve to protect the users from the greed or the malicious intents of some developers, and I don't see any of these in your script.

I do not know.

Promotions, and Referrals would be conceived as advertisements.

Perhaps we can allocate levels or rates from 1 - 3.

Maybe "ref" for references would be appropriate.

Thank you. Then, may I remove the antifeature metablock from my script?

It is important for me to not have anifeature metablocks because this script was created as a mean of protest against the people who suppress RSS, and anifeature metablocks discourage installations.

I have removed the metablock aftre a moderator has dismissed a claim.

I think, that "Political" might be a good label.

My script is politically super-charged for syndicated technologies.

Sounds like an interesting feature, not only saying "ads" but knowing which type, this could increase script installs, like if users hate ads they wouldn't install the script at all, but if even though they hate ads, but don't mind seeing only and specifically political ads, maybe because the like politic topics, then they would install the script anyway.

Yes.

I suppose so.

Good day! I am a lawayer, and I have created that software because I am concerned of this and that, and I have also included related resources and references.

This seems fine to me.

We can experiment and see how it progresses.
