Hmm are you using English YouTube? The script just looks for the "Hide Chat" button on page load and clicks it automatically to toggle hiding the chat, if you're not using English YouTube it might not find the button

hey, it's me again,
after looking for some problem, i finnally realize that this script is working but still have some bugs.
if you click on another livestream on recommendation while watching livestream, it will load the chat by default.
but if you open in on new tab page, it hidden by default. hope you can fix this.

and in my case, the reason why it's not working before, because you're script isn't compatible with another script that im using.

when i tried disabling that script, your script when working, but still have some bugs that i explain above.
